I am currently working on an ad-hoc basis with Geckotech Solutions after contributing to various Network Rail bridge inspection and maintenance projects since Aug 2014. Projects encompass various activities including de-vegging, soil nailing, rock scaling, rock drilling, netting and meshing, pointing and painting tie rods. Key responsibilities include:• Utilise access methods including straight drops, rope to rope transfers, aid climbs and hauling systems• Coordinate with teammates to safely erect scaffolding where necessary • Complete tasks efficiently and maintain a high standard of work at all times• Liaise with the Level 3 Rope Technician and Project Foreman to coordinate the project timeline • Respond to arising difficulties and ensure the safety of all involved• Work to continually learn from different project specifications and improve own capabilities in the field

• Deliver the SVQ Level 2 &3: Training & Industrial Skills course to modern apprentices• Play a key role in the progression of core skills• Deliver practical development classes and set and assess practical project assignments

Worked on Network Rail geo-technical projects and completed a geo-technical and de-vegging project for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
