Director of Development – The Manitoba Museum (2006/Present) – Manitoba’s largest educational and historical attraction, the Museum reflects the human and natural history of the province and promotes science literacy. The Museum attracts over 350,000 visitors each year. Responsible for earned revenue (exclusive of admission and sales) for both the Museum and the Museum Foundation, the Director of Development supports the sustainable development of all aspects of the Museum’s operations, exhibits and programming. The Director of Development is a major ‘influencer’ in the development of the annual business plan and budget and sits on committees of the Board of Governors.

Chief Executive Officer – Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories (2004/2006)- A newly amalgamated provincial charity, the Society’s mission is to provide direct service to clients and their caregivers and to fund research into the cause and cure of the disease.As the first C.E.O. of the amalgamated Society the priority was to maintain a high level of stakeholder support through the transition period. The responsibilities included the creation of an organizational infrastructure to ensure effective development and smooth operation of all aspects of the provincial/territorial Society.

Vice President of Fund Development - Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Manitoba and Alberta Divisions (1997/2003) - A registered charity mandated to provide direct service to persons with multiple sclerosis and to support research into the cause and cure of the disease. Responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated $3.6 million fundraising program, the Vice President maintains peak efficiencies of all resource development initiatives and advises senior management and Board of Directors on administration, personnel, policy, volunteer, and communications issues.
