This included talking out wires, processing preventative maintenance activities, operation of all equipment both in local and remote mode, logging and resolving discrepancies, maintaining a daily log, red lining drawings and submittal of test procedure completion to the government oversight.

Lead Electrical Designer for ALCOA and Rohm and Haas Projects• Projects included the re-built of Melting Furnace No. 3 for the ALCOA Tennessee South Plant Operations and Rohm and Haas 400 Unit Controls Upgrade. Task included revising and producing new Schematic Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings, Connection Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Raceway Layout and Bill of Materials.

Lead Electrical Designer for the TVA Fossil and Hydro Project• Kingston Fossil Plant Relocation of Generators Sync and Regulating Controls Units 1-9. Task included revising and producing Schematic Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings, Connection Diagrams, Raceway Layout and Bill of Materials.• Johnsonville Fossil Plant PRB Coal Project Units 1-10. Task included producing documentation for the Controls Upgrade of the Coal Scale and Coal Bunker Dust Collectors using an Allen-Bradley PLC.

Construction Engineer for the SL-FD ALCOA Alliance Project in Newburgh IN and ALCOA TN• Projects included Potrooms Roof and Roof Monitor Replacement, Packing Material Handling Equipment Replacement, Pitch Fume Collection System and Line I North Ore Distribution Baghouse Replacement. Responsibilities include day to day status reports, daily coordination with production personnel, training of safety procedures, coordinating with environmental personnel to determine health hazards and abatement procedures, coordinating outages and start-up with production personnel, assisting in training maintenance personnel, assisting in phase I estimating, purchasing of equipment and materials, and provided field construction engineering support on all electrical issues.

Principal Electrical Designer on contract with Fluor Daniel for the SL-FD ALCOA Alliance Project• Responsibilities included design of all Power Distribution Systems, Control Systems, and defining Scope of Work, Specification of all Electrical Equipment, coordinating with field construction personnel and between the different disciplines.

Principal Electrical Designer for Industrial and Educational Facilities• Performed field walk down of the existing power distribution system to produce up to date Single Line Diagrams for the Cutler-Hammer Plant in Asheville, NC.• Designed Low Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm and Communication Systems for the Northwest Middle School in Travelers Rest, SC and the East End Elementary School in Easley, SC.• Designed a Medium Voltage Supply Raceway to a new communication complex for the Fort Bragg, SOF Headquarters in Fort Bragg, AL.• Designed Low Power Distribution, Lighting, Lighting Controls, Motor Control Circuits, Fire Alarm and Communication Systems for the Yamaha Office and Warehouse Facility in Atlanta, GA.
