Increased income by 300%, over my ten year period in the role, which allowed the charity to extend its reach throughout Wales.Developed a new strategic direction for operational activity, strengthening and enhancing the traditional event management activity, whilst significantly growing the patient transport arm and designing innovative new services to support robust communities and independent living.-Designed an innovative new falls support service in partnership with the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust , which saw for the first time St John people attending elderly fallers in their own homes, providing a time driven service, which improved patient experience and eased the burden on the National Health Service. This service began as a pilot in the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board area and now operates successfully throughout Wales.- Designed an innovative mental health crisis support service, in partnership with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, which saw for the first time St John people providing transport support to people in need of urgent mental health support, improving the patient experience and easing the burden on the National Health Service. This service has grown from an initial pilot with the health board to a Welsh Government funded service operating successfully throughout Wales.-Took over a small patient transport service that was tendering to keep hold of its only contract in Cardiff, and transformed it into a successful Wales wide operation, winning multiple tender processes.-Increased net contribution to the charity by over 300%, developed and successfully maintained a suite of ISO standards to ensure business efficiency and established the charity as the preferred partner to the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS trust.

Providing strategic direction and leadership to 5,000 volunteers throughout Wales, delivering event first aid, community work, ambulance activities and developing youth activity for over 2,000 young people.Helped develop the Policy Agenda for Volunteering in Europe, based in Brussels in 2011.- Established a national safeguarding team to support activity throughout Wales.- Won funding for and introduced a new diversity programme for the charity, which enabled the organisation to reach out to all areas of the community.- Designed a new regional volunteer structure, ensuring increased quality, consistency and efficiencies. - Designed a new Wales wide structure, which brought staff and volunteers together, ensuring shared resources, better working methods and considerable cost savings.

Responsible for all marketing/PR/copywriting/sales/promotions for Wales’s largest independent department store. Incorporating all sales, press/radio advertising, brochures, sponsorship, internal/external events and a monthly magazine. Effectively managing a large budget, maintaining the website and maximising in store merchandising.
