The facility was designed and built in accordance with ISA-88 batch control standards with Rockwell PLCs and a Rockwell SCADA system. We completed the integration / execution of the IQ / OQ documentation for the facility.

JESolutions served as the Programing Contractor of Pact Pharma's Small Scale Suite. Built out a Factorytalk SE SCADA system to control multiple skids via a remote tablet. Worked with AES (Skid Manufacturer) in the design and completed the programming for a Chromatography Skid, TFF Skid, and Single Use Fermenter Skid. The programs for each skid were built in a modular way to allow for an easy integration of up to 8 more of each skids to be added into the system. The Factorytalk SCADA system was also built out in this modular setup. QR codes can be scanned by the operator at each skid to pull up that particular skid's active HMI display for ease of use. A complete historian and reporting system were deployed with the SCADA system as well.

Worked with the Agilent Engineering team to design a plant process that would meet their needs. Our team worked to program the plant process system using RSLogix PLCs and a GE Proficy iFIX 5.8 SCADA system. Conducted the Commissioning, OQ, PQ, and start-up support for Agilent. Role responsibilities included complete start to finish programming of the downstream PLC and SCADA systems, writing technical GMP documentation, supervision of the automation engineering team during development and integration, and electrical and instrumentation start-up.

Lead the Design, Configuration, and Integration of a SCADA Proficy iFIX 5.8 plant expansion project. Role responsibilities included the programming of a fermenter skid using phase management using structured text, writing technical GMP documents, hardware and I/O configuration, and commissioning.

Specific duties included, project management, schedule development, budget development, writing technical documents, developing a new process plan, and supervision of electrical sub-contractors. Role responsibilities were to manage our team to ensure the design, programming and SCADA development were on track and meeting the customer’s needs.

Challenged with safely designing and building a process to convert landfill bound and ocean plastic waste into a crude oil product. Collaborated with fellow engineers to design a 20 ton/day reactor and oil collection process using AutoCAD, Excel VBA, and AspenTech. Managed, constructed and installed the entire process over an 8-month period. Completed QA Testing and technical product R&D to create financial models and forecasting plans for taking our product to market.
