During my internship, I embarked on an immersive journey into the world of DevOps, with a particular focus on CI/CD pipelines. I skillfully used a versatile set of tools to research/test software delivery processes. Responsibilities: • Jenkins and Jenkins Agents Analysis: I meticulously tested Jenkins and its agents, dissecting the strengths and weaknesses. This analysis provided essential insights for optimizing our build and deployment workflows. • Creation of Kubernetes Cluster: This cluster, a cornerstone of our operations, facilitated seamless application deployment and orchestration. • In-Depth Exploration of Argo Tools: I researched and tested Argo tools, including Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and Argo Rollouts. My exploration unveiled the potential of these tools to amplify deployment strategies and workflow automation. • Create Docker base images containing necessary testing tools for code quality, source code analysis, and security testing; configure Jenkins to use these images as agent containers in Kubernetes; set up pipeline stages for each testing type, integrating tools and generating reports; ensure scalability and resource management; maintain and update images/tools for continuous improvement.Contributions: • Informed Decision-Making: My assessment of Jenkins and agents guided informed decisions, enabling us to implement the most fitting tools for our CI/CD pipelines. • Insights into the Argo Ecosystem: My exploration of Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and Argo Rollouts yielded profound insights into their potential to streamline deployment strategies and automate workflows.
