In representing clients appeared before the following state and federal agencies: National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and U.S. Department of Labor, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and Industrial Commission, Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Ohio State Employment Relations Board as well as before state and federal courts.Representative Clients: Provided advice and counsel and served as chief negotiator for numerous small and medium size employers and three of the largest employers in Northwest Ohio:Toledo Public Schools – from 1986 through 2001 represented Ohio’s 4th largest school district (5,000+ employees, 30,000+ students) in labor negotiations, employee relations and contract administration for teaching, non-teaching and administrative employees represented by the Toledo Federation of Teachers, Toledo Association of Administrative Personnel and AFSCME.City of Toledo – from 1992 through 2000 chief negotiator in labor negotiations with Teamsters Union and AFSCME for over 1,100 City sanitation, water reclamation, 911 operators and general maintenance and clerical employees.Seaway Foodtown, Inc. – from 1981 through 2000 represented 5,000+ employee multi-state retail food and drug store chain in all aspects of union/non-union employee relations including FMLA, ADA, OWBPA compliance, drug and alcohol testing, wage/hour compliance and audits,50+ labor arbitrations and contract negotiations with the Teamsters and United Food and Commercial Workers
