CurrentFacilitate and coordinate harvest, production and bottling effort, as well as manage production team, and all of the necessary responsibilities therein.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Coordinate and facilitate large-scale harvest and production effort- Evaluate, interview, and hire employment candidates- Coordinate bottling effort logistics, including shipping and receiving of finished product and materials- Manage and lead 11 full-time team members in addition to 15 seasonal harvest interns- Ensure premium wine quality throughout entire production process- Develop and implement performance objectives and goals for individual employees as well as provide timely feedback and guidance to help ensure those goals are met- Ensure equipment is well maintained and safely operational; coordinate with technicians when necessary- Ensure processes and procedures are as effective and efficient as possible while ensuring maximum quality- Increase sustainability through improved procedures and implementation of new technologies- Develop and adapt SOPs to new and changing technologies- Purchase dry goods, chemicals, and necessary equipment/materials- Understand and ensure compliance of Cal/OSHA guidelines; Implement trainings and procedures to assure safe work environment - Generate work orders via VinTraceRecent certifications and experience include:- Emerging Leaders II Training Program with focus on management, team dynamics, and personnel development- California Department of Pesticide Regulation QAL Class P (Microbial) license- Facilities experience, including, but not limited to, the assistance of storm and process wastewater management, ammonia cooling systems, ozone systems, and power outage protocols- Awareness and understanding of labor and operational costs as they relate to capital budget
