James has over 15 of senior housing investment experience and 20 years of financial market experience. His experience includes equity, mezzanine and first mortgage financing of life plan (entry-fee) continuing care retirement communities, rental independent and assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities.James has completed senior living and long-term care financings totaling over $1.5 billion, including $300 million in equity and subordinate debt and over $750 million in FHA, government agency and first mortgage financings. He also has led over $200 million of restructurings and distressed note purchases.Mr. Scribner served as a founding member of the NIC Future Leaders Counsel. He earned his MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and completed his undergraduate degree in Economics with a concentration in Financial Markets at Colby College.
