I'm a senior software developer with over 20 years experience as a full stack developer, and nearly 10 years experience in information security with a focus on application security. I'm also a mobile app developer, and passionate about advances in AI.I work as a software engineer in C/C++, and a full stack developer using JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, Node.JS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, occasionally Go, and a lot more. I've picked up a lot over the years! In my day-to-day work now, I build "the hard stuff" and figure out complex problems, working with C# .NET, API development, use ReactJS, Node, C++ and occasionally PHP/Laravel. I'm often leading the project or working on it alone.I've designed and built large, complex systems with multiple stages in C++ that process imagery and video in raw formats from cameras mounted on drones and planes for feeding into artificial intelligence systems for classification and identification. I also used CUDA for a satisfying speed up with image processing.Back in 2015 I published a guide on reverse engineering iOS apps which (then) contained information that you couldn't find on Google :-) It was published by WHITEHACK.Outside of work, I'm interested in compilers, interpreters and VMs. I've written compilers in C++ and Java that generate Java bytecode for the JVM, and machine code for different platforms by generating LLVM IR code, and worked on custom platforms with their own compilers and virtual machines on and off since 2001.
