In my role I facilitate clinics to deliver the highest standard of care with implantable devices in the field of audiology in conjunction with key account management.My clinical responsibilities include guiding professionals on complex case management, providing surgical support and education across our Cochlear Implant portfolio and services. I develop and maintain relationships within my territory and with key opinion leaders. I devise account strategy, have launched multiple products and contribute to design and execution of both professional and consumer events. I work closely with my colleagues in marketing, market access, customer service and consumer engagement to ensure we deliver key messages to the correct audience. As part of my account management I am responsible for maintaining and growing the business in my region. During my time I have negotiated and secured key account contracts and tenders in a highly competitive landscape to retain and further increase our market share across both NHS and private health care systems. More recently I have led wider teams within the organisation in the development and implementation of remote solutions to assist our patients and clinicians.

At Great Ormond Street Hospital I specialised in implantable hearing devices using a range of manufacturers and products including Bone Conduction and Cochlear Implant solutions. I worked as part of a large multidisciplinary team including Audiovestibular Medics, Ear Nose and Throat Consultants, Speech and Language Therapists, Hearing Therapists, Teachers of the Deaf, Service and General Managers.Whilst working at the hospital I took the role of Lead Audiologist. In this role I combined use of my clinical experience with management of the wider Audiology team. During this time we undertook an extensive service review increasing activity, income and patient experience. I delivered a new assessment pathway for the Cochlear Implant multi disciplinary team reducing assessment time from months to weeks. During my tenure I led our move from paper to computer based testing and record keeping.Outside of my NHS workload I developed a private Audiology business with some of my colleagues at Great Ormond Street. This included a range of paediatric cases and Cochlear Implant assessment and management for UK and international patients.

I was employed by Queens Medical Centre Nottingham on scholarship combining my MSc and post graduate CAC training and assessment. The CAC encapsulated adult and paediatric hearing assessment, adult hearing aid management and vestibular assessment. After completing my CAC exams my contract was extended and I developed further becoming competent in addition to paediatric hearing aid management, complex case management and vestibular rehabilitation. I began to specialise in paediatrics and contributed to the vestibular service development.
