As chief legal officer and member of the Senior Leadership Team, I provide legal and business advice to Club Car and its global workforce. Club Car is the world leader in small wheel electric vehicles, manufacturing everything from golf carts to utility vehicles. A small sample of my experience includes the following:*Managing Club Car through a transformative $1.7 billion spin off, including serving as lead on compliance, ESG, legal, insurance, and real estate matters; *Leading Club Car through an acquisition of a competitor based in Europe to grow Club Car's street legal product offering; *Teaming with Finance to market and place all global risk transfer policies as a new standalone business; *Securing a total defense verdict in a catastrophic personal injury lawsuit with claimed damages in excess of $15,000,000; *Advising all levels of the business on regulatory compliance relating to COVID-19 (state, federal and cross-border coronavirus / SARS-CoV-2 regulations and orders);*Successfully overseeing resolution of a patent infringement case against a key competitor, securing exclusive rights to proprietary technology critical to the golf industry; *Establishing new operations in China, India, Denmark, Poland, Ireland, and Singapore; *Negotiating commercial agreements in a variety of settings, including supplier/sourcing agreements, marketing partnerships, employment agreements, and other commercial transactions.
