Beginning in a small town. Post Gladwin high-school graduation, I pursed a career in Graphic Design and Advertising. Attending the prestigious College for Creative Studies in Detroit, while working a multitude of different fields; Mechanic Shops, Face-to-face Sales Marketing, Restaurant BOH and FOH, Retail, Warehousing. A jack of many trades, but a master of none. During this time, I tried breaking into many other alternative avenues like acting and modeling. None of these jobs really piqued my interest, besides being a student and hoping I find what I love to do. I tried for years to get a career as a designer with minimal success besides being a Freelance "starving" Artist and receiving commendable ServeSafe and Service Recognition Awards that would ultimately get me nowhere. This was rewarding to the company I represented, but not very useful in my future growth and success. As a designer, I truly loved helping entrepreneurs establish their brand identity and helping them reach their customers more effectively. I was proficient in Adobe Creative Suites and fundamentals of Fine Arts. Once I moved away from the big city and back to the trees of Mid-Michigan. I had the pleasure of working at a manufacturing company called Pittsburgh Glassworks as a Hot End Operator. PGW was in the process of being bought out by Vitro Automotive Glass. These companies allowed me to dip my feet into the pool of Process Optimization and System Analytics where my superiors began to notice my natural ability to resolve disruptions and predict inefficiencies. I was certified in LOTO and Hi-Lo Operations and with this received funding opportunities to go back to school to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Science and Engineering. Majoring in Industrial Engineering Technology at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant. Focuses in Applied Mechanics for ET, Engineering Economics, Parabolic CNC Design and Modelling, FANUC Robotics Handling Tool Operations and Programming, Facility Design, Industrial Management, and GD&T. Joining the Society of Collegiate Leadership and Achievement (SCLA) and taking the first steps to an exciting to life path. The future is brighter than ever and I cannot wait to see where it leads.
