The power generation development portion allowed for the potential of up to 3,000 MW.Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for the conditions assessment of two gas-turbine peaking plants and seven hydroelectric power plants as part of an Independent Engineering team for the acquisition of a regulated utility in the upper Midwestern United States. POWER conducted a fatal flaw review of the potential acquisition and then performed a due diligence review of the Upper Peninsula Power Company’s (UPPCO’s) generation, transmission, and distribution assets.

Responsible for engineering and project management activities associated with Diamond Generating Corporation’s existing and proposed assets. This included being the EPC Contractor lead management for the design, construction, and commissioning phases of the Mariposa Energy Project (MEP), a nominal 200MW simple cycle power plant which utilized GE LM6000-PC SPRINT combustion turbines. Other MEP responsibilities included regular interface with the California Energy Commission (CEC), the California Building Official (CBO), and various other entities. Responsible for engineering and project management support for proposed future power plant projects, which included conceptual design and project estimating for numerous project configurations under consideration.

Responsible for management of commissioning activity coordination, for liaising with the EPC contractor and the existing Phase 1 Operations group, for management of Phase 2 site engineers, and for communication, implementation, and coordination of the ICHP2 Commissioning and Handover Execution Plan.
