I now conduct mediations and other ADR proceedings full time although I continue to practice law. I conduct workplace mediations and conduct mediation training for in-house conflict resolution programs for organizations large and small, principally in Vermont.I joined Sheehey Furlong & Behm on 4/4/11. This move came about due to Vermont Governor Shumlin's appointment of 50% of my lawyers to cabinet or near cabinet level posts in his new administration! Mary Peterson was selected as the new Tax Commissioner and Liz Miller was selected as the new Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Public Service...quite an honor for our small firm. Liz now serves as Governor Shumlin's Chief of Staff.
