My main responsibility was to help the guests (i.e. customers) load heavy purchases into their cars. I also maintained the storefront by retrieving shopping carts and ensuring that the trashcans were empty. I helped out inside the store by restocking returns and directing guests throughout the store.

I carried out powder processing experiments using a SPEX mill to make amorphous alloys. I used XRD analyses to determine the processing conditions needed to make amorphous alloys. I improved powder yields to 75% and eliminated processing problems that rendered powder samples unusable.
