Led and coached a product team of 5+ people, while defining the short term and long term strategy for Chatbooks. As a coach I regularly saw my direct reports promoted by clearly strategizing their career goals and objectives, and ensuring that they had the tools necessary to achieve them. I crafted and set up a group product manager system to ensure mentorship and shared responsibilities between product managers. Under my leadership we launched a category defining photo book subscription product that grew to be worth over $20 million in annual recurring revenue in 2022. During my tenure, we created a new goal setting system that helped direct the teams to their most important objectives and customer outcomes. Leading with this actionable data helped keep the teams focused on their north star metrics, and created visible reasons to pivot as user behavior changed. I moved the product teams over to reliable and predictable sprints aimed at achieving their larger goals. During this period I served as the JIRA admin, and created frameworks for managing sprints in JIRA across multiple teams. This includes regular sprint reporting systems in both Slack and Notion, and company check-ins on team's progress towards their objectives and the initiatives they were working on.

As a Senior Product Manager at Chatbooks I led the team which handled the most critical products. In this role I started the initial designs, user studies, and iterations that ultimately led to the subscription photo book product. I also mentored and coached two junior PMs to promotions during this period, while still running a highly performant development team. I also worked closely with third parties on several initiatives that led to mutual success. With Facebook specifically we launched a first of its kind web-app based flow from an advertisement that allowed users to quickly purchase a product from an ad before being encouraged to download the Chatbooks app. This project led to a 40% conversion rate from digital ads.As a Senior PM I continually leveraged data alongside customer interviews to ensure that we were building the right things to achieve our team and business objectives. I was heavily involved both in goal setting for my team as well as goal setting for the department - ensuring we consistently set goals that would be impacted by product initiatives. These are the same behaviors I later coached my teams towards as a director of product.

As a Release Manager at Workfront I ensured continuous smooth delivery of features into production by leveraging key CI/CD behaviors. I worked closely with the development and testing team to set appropriate gates to release. I ensured that, as functionality was pushed to product and ultimately turned on by a feature flag, the greater company was kept informed. I worked closely with teams to define release objectives and identify potential cross-team barriers to release. I created and led portfolio and department scrum of scrum meetings, ensuring team objectives were aligned.

As a Product Manager at SirsiDynix I led our product focused academic expansion in the UK market. This involved working directly with several university libraries on an extended pilot program to build the solution that their libraries and professor's needed. During this pilot, my development team launched several new to Sirsi technologies, as well as an integration with multiple LMS. As a B2B product manager, I worked closely with the sales team to understand what their prospects were looking for. I leveraged this information against what I heard from support and directly from customers, combined with data about usage, to define a customer outcome focused roadmap. During this period I presented extensively at conferences across the US on the product and its future development. I wrote responses to RFPs that detailed future product features as well as defined clear timelines.
