We have completed this investment, generating returns for our investors of 3 to 5 X.When I joined PIH, the company needed additional funding to grow, MNA Advisor LLC provided funding with some of our investors (equity and debt) and acted as a part time CFO (Mark Vance), full time VP Business Development (Bud Montang) and I took on a role on the Board of Managers. We worked with Dougal Cameron the CEO on strategy and in converting the licensed revenue model to a SaaS revenue model and to help ramp up revenue.

I am proud to have led an amazing team as the CEO at ZXP Technologies in partnership with Milton Street Capital (PE) to transform and grow the business. When I joined ZXP, the company was in a shareholder legal fight, a lender workout situation and experiencing major customer churn. We established a new strategy, brought in additional new talent, stabilized the company, refinanced the debt, cleaned up the financials, conducted a successful PE transaction, reduced inventory by over $9 million dollars, implemented vendor managed inventories worth over $5 million dollars, reduced employee turnover from 400%+ to less than 6%, dramatically improved employee morale, improved our HSSE record, obtained IATF 16949 certification, improved customer service and our On Time In Full from 57% to 98%+, renegotiated new contracts with annual price increases in excess of $1 million per year, doubled or tripled our volumes with several existing customers, brought on major new customers, made strategic capital investments and partnered with our customers to have them fund over $15 million dollars in capital expenditures that had operational benefits to both parties. We managed through Covid-19 with no employee traceable transmissions in the plant, held EBITDA for the year flat despite major supply chain impacts, obtained $4.5 million dollars in PPP funding and spent 100% of the funds in alignment with the rules and received forgiveness under the program.

We started the company with the acquisition of a company with a business plan and limited operations as a subsidiary of CHR Solutions, Inc. I was the founding Chairman of the board and Manager of wireless services operator providing 4G LTE in rural America until we got it operational and established a management team. The business plan works as a partner with the rural carriers who owned their local assets and spectrum. We spun NAA out of CHR and it is continuing to grow, has gained significant traction and I continue as a significant passive shareholder with no management or board duties.
