Menlo-Atherton Football Association
Over the past month, the Menlo-Atherton Football program reached out for me to revamp their website and, if you will, their brand. Menlo-Atherton is a local Bay Area powerhouse, producing players and coaches that are recognized at a national scale, the site has to reflect that. The sites main goal is to engage, whether it is the mother of a future player or the players, themselves. Aesthetically, the site's goal is to excite and represent the M-A football as the hardworking, hard-nosed, powerful program that they are. But it is also meant for both players and parents to grasp the core values of what the M-A Football Program is about, with an on-site blog, highlighting recent commitments, recruiting news, blogs posts (the first written by myself) and other amazing content created for the M-A community. The program wouldn't be where it is today without the parents involved, so, the site is based on functionality. Making key dates and forms easily accessible as well as driving visitors towards donating as M-A football is a non-profit. Parents of past, present and future players want to be excited about the program, so in order to help drive donations, I included PayPal buttons on almost every page with prices, dates and essential information. This site is made to engage everyone, at scale, bringing the Bear Community together in one place. For me, this was a passion project, this program played a key part in who I am today. I played for the team for four years, coached for three. I know the program like it's the back of my hand. So when I was asked to do this, it was a no-brainer. Being a brand minded individual, I viewed this as a rapidly growing brand. With the main goal of driving content and creating an aesthetically beautiful, engaging site for those who play for, associate with or looking to donate to the Menlo-Atherton football program.View the site here: mabearsfootball.com
