As Supervisor, I directed all production management operations including staffing, production, scheduling, shipping and receiving, inventory, quality, and problem solving. With little prior knowledge of the FRG production plan, I led the ramp-up of production operations, where we hit the ground running, building and shipping as many as 80 units a day, a 500% increase from start-up production.. This allowed increasing inventory stock while maintaining shipment schedules. I maintained or beat budget projections throughout the project, allowing us to trim workforce as we neared completion. I also found and negotiated new vendors and resources that helped improve the project bottom line.

I maintained a dual role that included both Production Management and Operations, and Account Management.For Production, I designed information systems and processes that created lean manufacturing, which enabled us to compete with the international market. I managed cross-functional teams, including team-building and training to improve our production throughput. I managed production scheduling and purchasing to maximize production efficiency and quality throughout the manufacturing processes. And, as the Lead Management Rep, I developed, implemented and led our ISO certified Quality Management System.Keeping my hand in the customer relations side of business, I handled account management functions for key customers to maintain strategic relationships and grow business. Here, I worked with key house customers to develop business, negotiate pricing, and establish plans schedules and logistics to meet their needs.

As Customer Manager, I helped the changing needs of customers as our company continued its transition from a Typographic house to a full service Ad agency. This meant understanding the evolving needs of our customers and their graphic needs. I was responsible for understanding the scope and needs of projects, and seeing that they were carried out effectively. These projects ranged from typesetting, graphic design and printing to concept modeling.
