After quite a long initial commute I worked as the Planning GIS intern for the Idaho Falls Planning Division. My duties included renaming, organizing, and hyperlinking permit documents to GIS layers for quicker and easier use. I was also tasked with bringing the Land-use layer up to date. Walkability in Idaho Falls was a project that I was lucky enough to be asked to work on. Although this was my smallest obligation, it was by far my favorite task. This also became the topic for my GIS Capstone.
