Responsible for managing the whole store during afternoon/evening opening hours as a duty manager. Managing the warehouse, receiving deliveries of ambient and GM stock, maintaining warehouse standards and safety. Organising daily teams of replenishment colleagues, coaching and motivating them on ways of working, teamwork, customer service, and department standards. Managing the shopfloor, stock replenishment and promotion changes as well as oversight of stock checking. Forward planning of rotas, and working with the deputy store manager in planning overtime for events and key sales periods. Communicating with colleagues through daily meetings (huddles) and feedback. Training colleagues and providing them with the tools and knowledge to deliver a great service to our customers. Ultimately managing workloads and ensuring colleagues are always on hand to serve customers.
