I am a second-year student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in CS. I am passionate about applying my skills in programming, mathematics, and finance to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. I am currently a member of two student-led organizations that focus on coding and trading: Cantor Coding and Trading and Quantitative Consulting and Finance Group (QCF).As a member of Cantor Coding and Trading, I cultivate my skills through independent assignments, mentorship from upperclassmen, and collaborative, cutting-edge projects. I have learned how to use various programming languages and tools, such as Python, R, and MATLAB, to analyze data, optimize algorithms, and simulate scenarios. As a member of QCF, I develop algorithms in Python to track stock data and create trade indicators, utilizing different investment strategies. I have gained valuable insights into the financial markets, risk management, and portfolio optimization. I am also a member of Go Blue Wear Pink, a student organization that raises money for breast cancer research. I have contributed to the social media marketing, fundraising events, and merchandise sales of the organization. I am motivated by the opportunity to use my skills and interests to make a positive impact on the society and the environment. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to any workspace, as well as creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.
