Founded and grew a dermatopathology laboratory, oversaw all aspects of the laboratory, at its peak had 45 employees and just under 100,000 specimens/yr. In 2003, integrated the independent lab into Ameripath, which was then acquired by Quest Diagnostics. While independent, developed and named ASSIST specimen tracking software that was eventually installed in nearly all Quest anatomic labs. Performed central dermpath functions for Roche in development of vemurafinib/Zelboraf. Delivered many international lectures at investigator meetings of Phases 1, 2, 3.
