In January 2020.. I moved on from the role of import/export Clerk, to the role ofImport/Export manager for Osborn Custom clearance.. during which my main duties included:1. Guiding the company through the Brexit period in 2020 and managing the expansion of the company, to which work load more than doubled from January 2020 onwards in which Brexit took place. 2. Growing the team by interviewing and hiring potential new employees3. Teaching the new employees the process of the job from start to finish, many of which included apprentices in which this was their first ever role in the world of customs.4. Organising / Delegating work throughout the team5. Guiding new and existing customers through the many changes that occurred post Brexit 6. First, learning the change of custom entry procedures from the Chief system, over to CDS and then passing that knowledge on throughout the team and ensuring the smoothest transition possible.

I enjoyed a role as an import/export clerk for Osborn Customs Ltd with some duties including• Organising what jobs come in, taking them off emails or via post.• Referencing the jobs via a spreadsheet on excel which includes the date of job, client, job ref, importer, container number and vessel• Complete customs entries on them by inputting all details given to us by our client into our system and then sending them to the various ports• Liaising with the ports and customs to keep track of when the shipments are due to arrive and then updating our clients on the progress.• Sending the final custom clearances as and when we receive them over to our clients• Advising potential clients on how to go about the process of customs clearance

I then took up an administrative role with Move on Now Ltd in which my duties were:• To ensure rent and arrears were being paid on time on the properties we had• Advertising the current vacant properties we had on the market and also researching what properties were becoming available. • Research what prices properties were averaging around similar areas to our properties The company also held seminars and coached people looking to become property investors themselves. This was called London Property University and my role was to advertise what we were offering and help organise the 2 day seminars which were help up in Kensington

After leaving sixth form in which I was part of Ebbsfleet P.A.C.E scheme I then got the opportunity to work as a labourer for Springfield Projects Ltd. We mainly worked at Chelsea F.C in which we set up the conduit in order to set up the televisions inside the concourses of each stand. Other jobs including setting up and replacing office lights in various offices around the country.
