James Tsiolis has over 30 years of experience in funds management and capital markets. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Strategic Capital Management Ltd. an investment management and advisory firm which was established in 2000. He was the investment advisor to several large endowment and superannuation funds including Stevedores Union Retirement Fund, Military Superannuation, Vision Australia as well as overseeing the SCM institutional infrastructure and private equity funds. He has served on investment and corporate advisory committees to Macquarie Global Infrastructure Funds, Rosemont Partners, Direct Investment Fund, Deutsche Private Equity, Military Superannuation, CITIC China Mezzanine Investment Fund and Energy Investors Group (EIG).Prior to SCM, served as the head of research at ipac Securities for four years, transforming the company into a global funds management company with offices around the world. He was also a senior investment analyst of ASSIRT Investment and Technology responsible for introducing a quantitative approach to the ratings of financial products and a quantitative analyst of James Capel Australia Ltd.He is a Governor of the Australian Archaeological Institute at Athens and former Deputy Chairman and significant shareholder of North Asia Strategic Holdings Ltd, a major investor in China Infrastructure over the past 25 years. A former, member of the Sir David Martin Foundation Young Committee, Director of Sydney Olympic Football Club, Director of the Sydney Metropolitan Opera Company, He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia Ltd and the Financial Planning Association of Australia Ltd.James is currently the CEO and Managing Director of Netlinkz Limited (ASX:NET). His initial involvement with the company was as an investor. In Feb 2016 he was appointed Executive Chairman and proceeded to recapitalise the business, changing the name of the company, from iwebgate Limited to Netlinkz Limited, and repositioning the company’s product development strategy to create the Virtual Secure Network(VSN) replacing the Virtual Invisible Network (VIN). James has transformed Netlinkz into a cloud based software network company allowing enterprise to digitally transform to a network that allows its users to work remotely and securely using any applications on the core network over the internet. The VSN is a cost effective way to shift a company’s network to an application based network via the internet with the highest level of cyber security and performance.
