James is currently retired with 20 years of honorable military service to our great nation, and 3 combat deployments to Afghanistan. Early in James's career in the military He was an Ammunition Supply Sargeant (Team Leader and Manager). The last half of His career in the military James was a Chief Warrant Officer (CW1-3) Chinook Helicopter Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) and an Aviation Missions Survivability Officer (AMSO) (Technical Manager/Specialist/Department Manager). James is proud of His 20-year career in the military but now it's time to take all that training, skills, experience and apply it to His new passion which is computer programming/Developer.James love's the fact that code expresses the intent and mental process of the programmer through the medium of a language designed by other programmers. Working out the best way to implement an algorithm through the structure and abstractions built into different languages requires a disciplined, methodical approach, but enables James to solve problems in a medium where He can test the results quickly.When this opportunity at Udacity presented itself to James, He immediately had to jump at the opportunity. James is available to relocate and start the next chapter in his life after 1 Dec 2022.
