The Warehouse Lead oversees and manages the inventory of personal property, parts and material, and equipment for the Division of Facilities Operations and Maintenance (DFOM) organization. Provides leadership in developing new policies or implementing program policy and position requirements and good business practices related to supply management administration and inventory management. Monitors, reviews, and evaluates supply operations and activities by a variety of means such as: detailed analysis of existing policies, systems, directives, and operational procedures; reviews of statistical reports, and the conducting of formal, in-depth evaluation studies. Determines resource needs and allocation, and justifies their effective use; and exercises a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over a staff responsible for carrying out the activities of the warehouse. Advises the warehouse personnel of supply policies and changes in industry standards. Develops procedures to accomplish specific functions relating to supply management. Advises the chief of CSB on formulation and execution of the buildings and facilities supplies while developing and maintaining policy and standards governing the development and use of property.
