I contributed primarily to Murdock London through creative writing and digital marketing skills; establishing and developing the online presence, personality and authoritative voice that the business owns in the men’s grooming market today. I was mostly responsible for the upkeep of the company's digital output.My role centred around creating fresh content and writing authentic and engaging brand copy, which spanned across the brand's digital platforms including the website, social channels, newsletters and the blog. I also held e-Commerce management responsibilities that included frequent direct communication with customers and covered plenty of ground working alongside third-party agencies, developers and external warehouse teams to ensure the business operations were as fluid and successful as possible.I was connected to wider fields within the business over the eight years; supporting various department managers to design, proof-read, edit and refine the brand messaging and tone of voice across retail products, wholesale assets, corporate documents and in-store/events materials. I was also responsible for coordinating creative brand projects; working directly with external partners such as the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), Dave television channel, Endemol Shine Production Group (Peaky Blinders) and MINI. These collaborative campaigns required creative direction and precise brand input to mutually succeed. I also steered brand input and creative direction when working alongside third parties in order to successfully complete the likes of website rebuilds, press releases, new product developments and pack copy.
