Provide presales enablement/support at industry events and shows. Pre-Press consultancy and product packaging design organisation that ensured standards for global customers who wished to have consistent design and corporate colours on printed product materials, eg shaving foam, deodorant, toothpaste, breakfast cereals, hair colouring. Responsible for Global IT provision to an agreed SLA. Allocation of IT Budget. Support of 19 servers in UK, 75Tb of Software Defined virtualised SAN Storage, 85x public FTP sites, second line support for 40 Mac’s, Access control/Smartcard system and CCTV system, Second line support for one office in USA and 2 in Europe. Managed 2x members of staff. Achievements:Specification, installation and configuration of a software defined and virtualised 75Tb SAN that was cross site replicated between UK and US. Upgraded core network switches from 100Mb to 1Gb allowing Macs to transfer images to file servers 10x fasterUpgraded firewall to model with 6x gigabit interfaces allowing 10x faster file transfer to file servers in DMZ’s from LAN.
