My name is James Veith and I was the Software Development Lead at Tyga-Box Systems, Inc. Prior, I studied Software Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology. I have always been a STEM guy, focusing on mathematics, sciences, and computers in school. Despite being primarily a STEM guy, I have always found great interest in almost everything: Psychology, Arts, Marketing, and Philosophy are all things that I’ve spent large chunks of my life towards and apply to my work today.In my personal life I am a genuine nerd, and express my interests, like Magic: The Gathering, League of Legends, Pathfinder, Manga, and other video games, in my free time. I have also been designing my own game since I was 15. I spend the majority of my free time thinking about anything and everything. Further, I pride myself in thinking freely, away from almost all of the biases and sensationalism that come with the mainstream media, preferring to come to my own conclusion about many of today’s important issues.I was the Software Design Lead for Tyga-Box and, at the age of 20, was their youngest employee. My duties were designing and developing the Tyga-Trax software, a BLE tracking system for Asset Tracking and Moving Management.As a Software Engineer, I have a heavy focus on efficient design and the user experience. I believe that designing good software is about more than just getting the most efficient combination of ones and zeros. Every piece of information I’ve ever learned, from every field I’ve ever studied, is what I put into every webpage, every app, and every program I make, to give my end users the best experience they have ever had.
