Creative Listening is a media production house with heart and ambition, specialising in audiovisual content (video, songs, animation and audio) for education and ELT publishing.

Specialists in helping small companies get an internet presence, from client consultation, business advice, branding and website development through to SEO, Social Media and online marketing.

Responsible for all phases of product development and business organisation. I was in charge of all audio and business development in the creation of our ground-breaking cinematic listening educational resources.Key roles:• Project management and head of production, including scripting, audio design, music composition, graphic design, website design, SEO and sales development.• Creation of innovative audio teaching materials and lessons for language learners, all based around cinematic audio production and EFL pedagogical aims.• Our recent commission for Macmillan Education - ‘A ghost’s guide to London’ is one of their most downloaded resources to date.

Accountable for every element of the company start-up and launch, I was in charge of all audio and business development in bringing the product to market. Key roles:• Creation of innovative audio teaching materials and lessons for language learners, all based around cinematic audio tour productions.• Project management and head of production, including all audio design, foley, advanced narrative editing, music composition and mastering, plus graphic design, website design, SEO and sales development.• The product development included historical and educational research leading to the creation of specialised narrative scripts suitable for the Education Sector.

Responsible for all aspects of audio production and project management, from the initial concept through to delivery, I was entirely responsible for every aspect of product creation.Key roles:• Creation and delivery of all concepts behind the audio design, from field interviews and binaural recording, foley creation, advanced narrative editing, music composition and mastering.• Project management of company including creation of the brand, website, and all aspects of the product development. The tours were released to critical acclaim including a five star review in the Mail on Sunday, Time Out, The Times, The Observer, The Sunday Mirror, The London Paper and Londonist.com.• Further audio tour commissions which I project managed and produced include partnerships with: Warner Bros, The Guardian, The National Trust, Time Out and the Florence Nightingale Museum.

I was responsible for all of aspects of studio management in busy and diverse studio.Production credits include: Kid Harpoon (XL Records), Seachange (Virgin/Matador Records), Hush the Many (Fierce Panda), The Grave Architects (Fortuna POP!).
