James joined GVA as a Director their aquisition of Dixon Webb in 2011 where he previously had worked since 2007. He specialises in Rating, Compulsory Purchase and Rural Practice.Throughout his career James has dealt with a wide variety of classes of property throughout North Wales, West Midlands and the North West and has been involved in all Rating Revaluations since 1990 both within the VOA (19 years) and private practice. James has specialised in the valuation of large complex industrial/warehouses premises, public utilities such as airports, ports and the nuclear industry as well as providing advice to Local Authorities as well as other public sector bodies.James was educated a the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth where he gained his BA (Hons) in Geography and afterwards at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester where he gained a Diploma in Rural Estate Management and fully qualified as an Associate Member of the RICS in 1986.
