I have had an awesome career managing our customers complex environment providing level 2 and 3 break fix support. Installed, configured, and patched hardware/equipment. I also defined firewall rules, set up routes, created tunnels, monitored performance. I also troubleshoot any issues that arise. I have a diverse technical background which includes not only network but also server, storage and virtual environments. This helps me in troubleshooting Network issues by understanding the devices behind the Network. I have found this extremely important when troubleshooting technical issues. I like not only the management, part but also the troubleshooting it is like a puzzle and over the years I have gotten very good at it. Troubleshooting methodology, is pretty simple you have to weed through symptoms to find the problem. I mentor all my engineers on this technique. I have always said, that a good engineer can troubleshoot anything from the Space Shuttle to Aunt Edna's lawnmower. My uniqueness is not only am I Technical, I am also a people person. Customer’s like and trust me, as I have great communication and interpersonal relation skills. I would run the network side of the Daily OPs meeting which included VPs on both sides and well as senior managers and engineers. If an issue was brought up, I would assure them I was on it and it had my undivided attention. I would report my progress in all meetings until the issue was resolved. That level of communication and trust assures the stakeholders, this issue was going to be resolved timely and properly. I have demonstrated expertise in supporting diverse data center, data protection, virtualization, networking, storage, voice, and collaboration technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet products.
