The Director of Operations supervises the work activities of window cleaning personnel in commercial, residential, and construction establishments, and is in charge of scheduling, estimating, staging, customer service and sales, and making purchases. Window cleaners report to the Director, who is responsible for assigning duties, inspecting work, investigating complaints regarding services and taking corrective action. The Director may purchase window cleaning supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new and long-time employees, administer discipline and recommend dismissals.
