I am a Co-Owner of SCI and Tecta Analytics. In addition, I manage a technical sales team, providing cost consultancy, feasibility assessments, design reviews and deployment strategies for our products and services offered to customers through both business units.I have 20 years plus experience in designing, integrating, and commissioning systems at both applications and infrastructure level within the building envelope; including, BMS, fire, security, access control, CCTV, and lighting systems. Monicam Ltd T/A SCI being the first of three companies within the UK to offer Niagara solutions under the Tridium portfolio, pioneering 3rd party systems integration and moving away from proprietary based control systems from our inception. Fast forward 20 years, and we are doing the same work but in cloud computing, managed services and enabling the next generation of platform ready smart buildings in the digital world.I have experience in many key industry sectors, including Pharmaceutical, high security, data centres, finance, prisons, hospitals, government and education. As well as leading commercial Sales, I am a Solutions Architect and Integrator for Trend, Niagara, Siemens and KNX products, and in recent years gained in-depth knowledge of IoT applications run at the Edge or the Cloud specific to building automation within the built environment. My knowledge base of platforms within the IoT arena include MS Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.I have a keen interest and knowledge base in cybersecurity and compliance codes distributed and governed by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) applicable to the systems and solutions we offer. My skill sets span a complete understanding of the latest and enhanced wireless communications and engineering best practices of Bluetooth 5.0, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologies used for smart building applications. In addition, I am passionate about Digital Transformation within the construction industry and how we can implement process-oriented solutions, increase efficiency, enhance working safety and reduce the building carbon footprint during the construction period on a given project. This led to the Tecta project and the development of MEP-4D, an entire Commissioning Management Platform.My daily objective is to find the right solution for each client we engage with, whether their requirement is driven by cost or deployment of the most cutting edge technologies which their business requires.
