As a regional director for “Clipper Magazine” (Gannett) , he successfully introduced the magazine in to the growing market of business advertising in Las Vegas, Nevada, generating over seventy-five thousand dollars monthly in revenue for Gannett. James’s athletic career started in junior high school. Ever since he was a boy he was an extreme athlete playing many sports including gymnastics. From junior high school to high school, and on to college, he continued to achieve the highest level of competition in football and track and field, receiving many awards and medals, and was recognized as one of the top athlete’s in the State of Michigan. James was awarded a full-ride scholarship to play football for the University of St. Thomas, MN, helping the team win their first national championship during his freshman year. He played 2 years of semi- professional football, and 1 year of professional indoor arena football.
