Responsible to the Commander, United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) for directing $10B global end-to-end distribution activities of the Defense Transportation Network. Fused the strategic and operational planning of multiple cross-functional organizations into a comprehensive, executable operation. Executed global crisis action operations—focal point for critical support for Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, UNITED ASSISTANCE, and multiple other crucial warfighting and humanitarian operations. Led and synchronized Fusion Center workforce of over 150 personnel. Fused operations/cyber/intel inputs to provide the Director with a comprehensive operating picture.

Ramstein Air Base, Germany

Vice Commander of wing with over 2,900 personnel spread across 19 bases in Europe and the Middle East; responsible for supporting strategic mobility operations enabling Air Mobility Command’s global airlift mission; ensured dissemination of force protection posture and threat integration to ensure continuity and safety of operations; provided oversight of a $92M budget during complex budget sequestration.

Integrated 7 Major Command budget inputs into cohesive, $219B mobility, special operations, and combat search and rescue budget portfolio across the FYDP; directed force structure and fiscal flying hour programming for airlift, air refueling, aeromedical evacuation, special operations, and combat search and rescue platforms; Air Staff’s focal point for integration of mobility programs briefed to the Secretary of the Air Force, the Air Force Chief of Staff, and Congress.

Grand Forks Air Force Base, Nd

Commanded large, diverse squadron of 150 personnel; provided air traffic control, airfield operations, flight equipment, combat crew communications, intelligence, and weather forecasting in support of 36 KC-135 aircraft and a 31,000 flying hour program; Led operations and ensured safety for a $265M airfield and 4,200 square miles of airspace with over 110,000 flight operations annually.

Scott Air Force Base, Il

Coordinated with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Combatant Commanders’ staffs, and Service staffs for all travel, agendas, itineraries, command visits, and presentation requirements in support of the Deputy Commander. As Deputy Branch Chief, led a Branch of 12 joint mobility planners that provided U.S. Pacific Command a single point of entry for deliberate and crisis transportation planning at USTRANSCOM.

Managed all requirements for the C-5 modification and modernization programs including $11.3B Reliability Enhancement and Re-engining Program (RERP) and the $690M Avionics Modernization Program (AMP); Air Mobility Command’s C-5A fleet viability lead.
