GMs effectively act as scaled-down CEOs, overseeing the daily operations of a business segment, department, or stand-alone retail location. It is the general manager’s responsibility to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more.

Successfully train new hires to sell DISH products and services to new and existing customers using the ability to present compelling offers and influence customer decision-making. Effectively manage time, open to learning new methods and looking to advance as an individual contributor. Teach new hires to demonstrate the ability and resilience to bounce back from challenges and maintain focus on larger goals. Assess each customer and their needs to determine the best value. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Transpose customer information including demographic, billing, etc. Provide excellent customer service, listen to the customer and ensure their satisfaction. Also helped launch the pilot program Mentor 2.0, which is a program to effectively train sales and retention agents.

I manage all information technology tier operations from ensuring programs are implemented in a timely manner to supervising the administrative team and vendors. In addition to verifying compliance with reporting and quality performance standards I am accountable for the entire IT infrastructure including all properties from acquiring and configuring telecommunications and data systems equipment to monitoring servers for business-critical bandwidth. I evaluate networks and coordinate system changes by collaborating with the executive team to determine the technology roadmap.
