As an HCPC Paramedic, and as Education Lead to South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust, I am expected to deliver high quality pre-hospital patient care by providing innovative, efficient and effective in–service training and education. This may include delivery in the classroom setting and/or in the workplace to individuals and groups of staff. I am a highly experienced Paramedic qualifying at University level. In addition I am also a Qualified Independent First Aid Instructor. I have a multitude of experience working in the Pre-Hospital and Emergency Acute Care environments.I have experience on Double Crewed Ambulances and further advanced training training on Solo Response Vehicles within the NHS and Private sectors. Skilled in Customer Service, Business Process Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Public Speaking, and Change Management. Strong healthcare services professional.I provide proactive and dynamic leadership, acting as an educational figurehead, promoting high quality patient care, examination and assessment, values and appropriate care pathways. As I am suitably qualified, I also provide support to Trust operational clinical performance at times of unusually high operation pressure and in accordance with the Trust’s REAP escalation plans. I participate in the development and implementation of service improvement policies where requested to do so by my line manager. I am responsible for the implementation of strategic objectives and policy in operational activity, providing feedback to ensure compliance and continuous patient-focused performance.I also engage with clinical, research and other trust departments to achieve strategic aims, especially as regards learning and development issues.I have experience as a School Governor at Semley CE VA School in Wiltshire governing Curriculum, Staffing & Admissions, Premises and Finance committees.
