Education & Early Achievements (1998-2002) Graduating from James Madison University's College of Integrated Science & Technology, I earned my BS degree with a dual concentration in Energy and Biotechnology. This foundational period set the stage for my future endeavors in sustainable technologies and engineering innovation.Solar Energy Pioneer (2003-2005) As General Manager at JED Engineering, I spearheaded the design of off-grid solar systems and water purification systems. My focus was on harnessing renewable resources to improve living standards while reducing environmental impact.Advancing Sustainable Energy Solutions (2005-2010) Elevating to the Director of Engineering for Clean Power Systems, I led the completion of over 1000 residential solar installations. I also achieved significant professional milestones:- 2007: Certified as an Energy Manager (CEM), specializing in commercial & industrial energy auditing.- 2009: Gained NABCEP Solar Certification, mastering photovoltaic system design and installation.Founding GreenWell Energy (2010) I incorporated GreenWell Energy, venturing into consulting and developing commercial renewable energy projects. This was a major step in my career, marking the transition from employee to entrepreneur.Partnership and Expansion (2015) Joining forces with Shorebreak Energy, GreenWell Energy signed an exclusivity agreement to develop partnership projects. My dual role as VP of Sales & Director of Engineering was complemented by serving as the electrical contractor license qualifier (RMM). Together we achieved:- 350+ commercial solar installations.- Pioneering the mounting of solar panels on new steel carport canopies.- 2016: Acquired a C-10 CA electrical contractor license.- 2018: Obtained an A license as a CA general engineering contractor.Full Circle - GreenWell Energy Inc. (2022) In a strategic move, I reassigned my contractor licenses from Shorebreak Energy Developers back to GreenWell Energy Inc. This marked a new phase of independence and growth for the company I founded.Throughout my career, I've remained dedicated to advancing renewable energy technologies and sustainable practices. My journey reflects a blend of engineering expertise, leadership in clean energy, and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship while assisting property owners develop new revenue streams using their existing portfolios.
