Current➤ Developing composition of tables and figures to convey results, writing reports, and designing/delivering presentations.➤ Contributing to Strengthening Malaria Monitoring and Evaluation Systems of Ethiopia and a Phase III Trial in Zambia.➤ Conducting qualitative research and data analysis along with target population interviews and focus group discussions.➤ Authoring policy briefs for USAID and other donor agencies on malaria in pregnancy and care seeking of sick children.➤ Developing protocols, data collection instruments, and data analysis in response to specific research questions.➤ Evaluating results of MTV-funded social/behavioral TV series on family planning and sexual health in Nigeria.➤ Collaborating with international researchers, Ministries of Health, NIH/USAID, and funding agencies and researchers.➤ Performing data research in accordance with established protocols, conducting regular analyses, and evaluating results.➤ Developing a strategic research plan that includes prioritizing studies along with identifying resources for those studies.➤ Working with biostatistics and data management teams to create codebooks, case report/census forms, and other tools.➤ Providing monthly financial reports to the principal investigator and managing project budgets while controlling costs.➤ Working in collaboration with researchers to develop yearly milestones and timelines and track and report goal progress.➤ Participating as an active member of protocol development teams and successfully submitting them to IRB for approval.➤ Managing partnerships with partner institutions, overseeing project subcontracts as well as progress/final payments.➤ Contributing as a co-author with the principal investigator on manuscripts concerning the data collected and analyzed.➤ Working with principal investigator to develop and submit grant applications and preparing and managing budgets.
