For me, it's all about breadth and diversity of challenge, and I thrive juggling multiple workstreams and brands. The Marketing profession has allowed me to indulge my motivations across multiple industry sectors. I have a 25+ year record of delivering marketing strategies across hugely established brands like Carlsberg, Diageo, the BBC, Dyson & Dickies.I cut my teeth across brand and trade marketing, sales and category management, and now focus on building brand strategy and ecommerce performance marketing, planning & measurable delivery frameworks. How? I take my teams through a process of understanding the foundations of the brand and building strategy off the back of this. Creative executions always follows the strategy and I am well used to working with or without agency support to deliver this. The strongest and most recent example would be the globalisation of the Dickies brand; aiming to unify wonderfully diverse cross section of consumers with consistent brand themes and messaging. More recently I have enhanced my skill-sets by taking responsibility for ecommerce strategy, revenues and performance marketing at Pet Drugs Online, a rapidly growing platform with revenues exceeding £100m and a 5 year CAGR of +21%.
