As a current Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Ottawa, specializing in entrepreneurship and engineering management, I am passionate about merging the worlds of engineering and business to create impactful solutions. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in math, physics, and hands-on experience in areas such as calculus, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, 3D modeling with SolidWorks, and simulation using MATLAB.One of my proudest moments was contributing to a team project that involved developing a device for a 6-year-old girl with arthrogryposis, enabling her to independently buckle and unbuckle her seat belt. This experience not only showcased my technical skills but also highlighted my ability to collaborate effectively in a team, manage time efficiently, and apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.Currently engaged in a captivating capstone project, my team and I are designing a planetary rover, further honing my engineering skills and fostering a deep appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration.Looking ahead, my goal is to work under a professional engineer to gain valuable experience, ultimately working towards obtaining my professional engineering license.
