Responsible for setting the business objectives for growth, margin and free cash flow for the region and for the day to day management of multiple functional areas that include sales, marketing, technical service, quality and customer service. This role has direct interaction with the other regional business leadership in the global business to ensure sharing and utilizing best practices in order to differentiate the company in the eyes of our customers. Responsible for all sales, marketing and new product development for the region and ensuring priorities for delivering the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in the region are aligned with the global product management and product development resources in North America. Also leading the efforts to capture new business opportunities in existing markets and segments while exploring other areas of differentiation and growth for the business. Assessing current organization capabilities, needs and define long-term requirements. Developing long–term strategy – including collaboration worldwide – to drive share gain and growth in excess of market growth in the region. Leading the Regional Sales team in setting and delivering objectives, including all elements of the P&L. Being knowledgeable of the current market dynamics in the region and their respective impact on the delivery of financial goals.- Achieving maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value by working very closely with the operations and supply chain teams. Working closely with product management and finance teams in the business to understand pricing, volume and mix to proactively identify trends that can impact the business. Identifying and sponsoring an Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSM) initiative in the region and driving the team to deliver. Responsible for clear, focused leadership in the region to further reduce the barriers to deliver.
