I transitioned to business intelligence and worked closely with a client's sales/leadership team. During this transition, I developed skills in Power BI, DAX, Flow/Power Automate, and Power Query. I regularly built reports in Power BI to examine the sales process from beginning to end (i.e., how leads convert to opportunities and ultimately land as revenue). For example, I developed a complex Power BI solution to automate the manual preparation of a weekly sales report. The Power BI solution resulted in a 98%-99% reduction in time spent for report preparation.

I branched out beyond licensing and became involved in new projects. For example, I took sole ownership of support duties for software services Inviso offers (Inviso SA and r-DIA). This included accounts receivable work, data collection, technical support, and UAT testing. These new responsibilities gave me the opportunity to create bridges between our SAM, Development, Accounting, Sales, and Leadership teams. I also learned about PowerShell to run scripts/commands and to troubleshoot issues users experienced when using our software services.

I improved my skills and added to my responsibilities, which allowed me to progress from the junior role. The primary function of the role continued to focus on accurately representing a client's Microsoft Licensing Statement, but I started working on larger and more complicated licensing reviews. I also began training new employees and reviewing their work before finalizing and sending back to clients. Additionally, I added VBA and SQL querying to my skill set; I wrote macros to automate tasks and began using SSMS to query data stored in SQL servers.

The primary function of this role was to review and ensure a client's Microsoft Licensing Statement accurately reflected owned license entitlements. I guaranteed accuracy and scope via internal routines and review processes. This role required a thorough understanding of Microsoft software licensing data, programs, and products. The ability to demonstrate an analytical mindset and problem solve in multiple contexts was critical for success.

My main goal was to create the safest and best experience for Bing users, while working with internal and external partners to generate successful and compliant advertising campaigns. I ensured all requests and escalations were resolved within a given SLA. I assisted in the escalation of content when advertisers were not adhering to Microsoft’s editorial standards. I had to adhere to the strict policies of foreign and domestic markets to ensure that advertisers bid on relevant keywords, so both ad copy and landing page content were of the highest quality. I worked closely with Microsoft managers to facilitate a channel for feedback and improvements for a variety of workflows and tools, specifically: Editorial Verification Desktop, Bing Ads UI, UCMT, and the Customer Assistance Portal. I reviewed classifier-based ad rejections for Microsoft’s clients in efforts to minimize future escalations. Through collaboration and precise assessment, I assisted in improving and shaping Microsoft’s editorial policy and Bing’s classifier capacity.

I worked with an incredible team to determine appropriate advertising quality and relevance for Bing users. Logical assessment of ad copy, content, and significance to the user were central to successful search engine optimization (SEO). Remaining knowledgeable and current with consistently updating editorial policy and efficiently demonstrating strong attention to detail was essential. Our team strove for a minimum of 96% processing proficiency. Collaborating with teammates and managers to strive for accuracy, achieve marketing goals, and further develop and evolve Bing advertising was vital to our success.

I sought to provide all clients with a valuable experience that led to satisfaction and improved sales. I identified appropriate opportunities to refer a customer to a teammate or specialist to discuss the full extent to which our services and products could make their financial life better. I prioritized activities and recognized those with the potential for the greatest impact on our clients. Staying current with business performance drivers, policies, trends and technology that influenced both clients and our organization was always a must.

I was responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I always worked within established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Identifying customer needs and referring necessary financial products and services was also an important responsibility. I consistently sought to assist customers and deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
