Train Service Controller North London Line and East London Line.Managing the day to day high frequency service metro rapid transit system in a safe and punctual manner conforming to all operational and Safety standards. Working as a team with other departments such as Driver Resources and the Fleet department Core Knowledge of the London Overground route, Train crew diagrams and fleet procedures.Implementation and delivery of contingency plans during service disruption liaising with Network Rail and other train operators regarding service recovery arrangements when the train service is disrupted.liaising with the Fleet Control Manager and Alstom in service support technicians regarding unit faults and train maintenance schedules.Keeping an up to date and accurate log of all exceptional events that effect the safe and efficient running of the railway.

Based in the control centre for London Overground my key duty were to deliver up to date and highly accurate information provision to London Overground's customers, staff and other stakeholders.Covering the entire London Overground network. North London Line, East London Line and the West Anglia routes.Having a clear understanding and compliance to industry standards such as Passenger information during disruption (PIDD) and conforming to these guidelines.Maintain the safety of customers by monitoring live CCTV and answering Emergency station help points in a quick and professionally manner and quickly assessing the situation and what impact it could have on London Overground operations.Updating and proactive sending to customers using the following toolsCustomer Information System (CIS) both the LICC and AMEY systems.Updating the Darwin Workstation which will feed downstream apps such as NRES.Recording and making live announcements using the public address system across the Overground network.Coordinate passenger assistance for Visually and Mobility impeded customers by liaising with station staff of what train the passenger will be on and getting station staff to meet the passenger at thier required destination.

Based in First Capital Connects service delivery centre at West Hampstead Power Signal box.My key dutys were to deliver timely and accurate information to Customers, Staff and other key stakeholders both internal and external regarding service information affecting the Thameslink route.liaising with the signalling staff on the operational floor regarding service alterations and taking instructions and updating the CIS regarding platform alterations.Information was sent out in accordance to PIDD compliance (Passenger Information During Disruption) using the following railway systems.TYRELL IO for sending alterations and line status messages to stakeholders.Customer Information System (CIS) LICC system. Posting special notices of service disruption and updating train alterations.Using the Long Line Public Address (LLPA) to record and send live announcements to stations across the network.
