• Responsible for executing strategy, leading safety management, and regulatory compliance associated with the planning and direction of avionics surveillance and oversight of United’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) per 14 CFR Part 121.• Develop, lead, and execute the team’s organizational planned safety assurance system (SAS) surveillance activities to collect, analyze, and communicate data to Principal Inspectors. Monitor and evaluate the performance and provide communication, and innovative solutions to clarify the context of tasks and provide innovative solutions to achieve desired outcomes.• I assessed and evaluated various operator-submitted Airworthiness Directive (AD) Alternative Methods of Compliance (AMOC), associated engineering authorizations (EAs), and short-term escalations (STE) submitted by the carrier for aircraft maintenance program changes on fleets of 737, 757, 767, 777, 787, and Airbus 319/321. • Assessed operator's manual submissions (GMM, etc.) to ensure adherence to FAA regulations and policy and/or enhance operational effectiveness• Served as Liaison on Airworthiness-Avionics related Voluntary Self-Disclosure Program managed through the FAA’s VDRP Portal and maintained authority to amend Operations Specifications sections A, D, and E.• A recognized expert in Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) (e.g., parts 5, 43, 65, 91, 119, 121, and 145) and relevant FAA directives and guidance applicable to civil aviation operations; as well as Federal directives applicable to Airworthiness Standards.• Builds and maintains liaisons with certificate holder representatives and outside organizations in the field of aircraft maintenance to foster a safety culture through voluntary reporting and use of the Compliance Program.
