I was a Senior Test Systems Architect; as a member of the test-engineering department, I oversaw the work of a team responsible for the design integrity of data acquisition systems that operated in the radio frequency communications spectrum and interfaced into internal network systems. I oversaw the preparation of studies, developed requirements, processes, and standards that will affect and govern planning, architecture, assurance, acquisition, design, development, management, security, utilization and measurement of data information gathering systems. I was also involved in the software safety and software quality assurance of these systems. I evaluated contractor processes and requirements for developing hardware/software used by these systems. This also included project schedule, budget, and authored requests for proposals, actively participated in the concepts and designs, performed cost trade studies to ensure the systems remained within budget, developed detailed technical documentation, and detailed drawings for these systems. I provided technical engineering support during prototype fabrication of these systems. I prepared the test procedures for developmental tests, conducted developmental tests (tested), evaluations in thermal dynamics, vibration, environmental, electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), electro magnetic capability (EMC), and acoustic testing to ensure the systems were compliant with predefined specification. I analyzed contractor proposals, participated in the decision making process of selecting vendors that were ISO9000 compliant, and ensuring the inclusion of small and disadvantaged businesses in the vendor mix. During this entire assignment, I developed progress/status reports of significant accomplishments, prepared, and presented this information to management in the form of formal presentations in order for management to make informed decisions.

As the Digital Development Lab supervisor, I played an integral part in the B2 Bomber program. Before that I was a senior engineer in flight test on the B2 Bomber program, I was responsible for the design integrity of flight test hardware that included data acquisition systems, flight data systems, ground data systems, radio frequency (RF) communications systems, network systems, 1553 buss test systems, and radio frequency ground support equipment (GSE). As the Systems Engineer, I performed evaluation and analysis of the ground support equipment in support of ground processing and launch of manned flights. I prepared and assisted in developing requirements, concepts designs, cost trades, detailed drawings, technical documentation and Request for Proposal (RFP). I provided technical engineering support/contractor oversight during prototype fabrication, prepared and reviewed test procedures for developmental tests to ensure compliance with established guidelines, conducted developmental tests and evaluations in thermal dynamics, vibration, environmental, electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), electro magnetic capability (EMC), acoustic, and temperature/altitude testing. I developed progress status reports of significant accomplishments and presented to management for decision-making purposes. Reviewed and provided technical input data on Small Business Innovation Research proposals (This included on site contractor evaluations, progress reporting, as well as determining appropriateness of the small business to meet our project needs).
