I have close to 20 years of experience in the games industry working in roles closely aligned to customer support or community management. I have worked in several different countries working on multi-lingual teams with members from across the world and different cultures. Which has provided me with insights into different approaches, providing me with many different tools and experiences I can apply to excel at any role I take up.Some of the highlights of my experiences include:• Volunteering and being offered a paid position• Running the world's first Esports tournament televised from in-game across the internet• Performing RMT investigations & Internal Audits/Fraud checks• Inspiring a group of players to develop a learning community• Being awarded multiple stock grants for excellent performanceI have worked for several of the biggest companies in the games industry such as Bioware, Electronic Arts, and CCP Games. This includes being credited for my work on Eve-Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, FIFA, and Battlefield.Outside of this I have also be involved with communities covering everything from game communities and conventions to mental health. I have participated in several charity bike rides and in a recent work-related event, managed to complete over 500km in a month.I wish to pursue my interest in helping communities whether they be around the games industry or any other.
